HISTORY: The B-25 medium bomber was one of America's most famous airplanes of WW II. It was the type used by General Doolittle for the Tokyo Raid on April 18, 1942. Subsequently, it saw duty in every combat area being flown by the Dutch, British, Chinese, Russians and Australians in addition to our own U.S. forces. Although the airplane was originally intended for level bombing from medium altitudes, it was used extensively in the Pacific area for bombing Japanese airfields from treetop level and for strafing and skip bombing enemy shipping.

More than 9,800 B-25s were built during WW II. The airplane on display was rebuilt by North American to the configuration of the B-25B used on the Tokyo Raid.

Having had a request to double the wing span on this plan, I saved the files. The files will be sent to you that will print plans at 18" x 45".5. The wing span is 52 inches at this size. Lets say you wish to have a 78 inch wing span. Simple tell the printer to print the plan at 150%. Do NOT tell them that you wish to have a such & such wing span as they will be lucky to the brain of a pot head. You MUST do the math first. Using the desired wing span divided by 52 inches in this case will give you the percentage that you desire. Also, do the to small files size, I have converted and saved them as PDF's and will be able to send them to you by email.

These are high resolution TIFF files and/or PDF files containing 200 x 200 dots per inch. The 4 files will print 4 sheets 18" x 45.5"

Plans may be enlarged up to 200% giving you a wing span of a whopping 104 inches. To attach the sheets together, trim one side to the print. A border has been left for this purpose on the sheets. Align the printed plans and spot glue using a glue stick at both ends and allow 60 seconds to set up. Now finish spot gluing the 2 sheets together. One spot every couple inches will be sufficient. Do NOT use scotch tape!
