Rubber Powered Model Airplanes from the 1930's
This is a Rubber Powered Free Flight plane plan that begs to be converted to Micro RC and a .049 or better yet, a 400 geared and poly-lite cells. You could have 30 minute flights easy.
The plan shows the construction of the gears and is very well drawn as you can see.
I will furnish a copy of the magazine article from the 1967 magazine with every plan purchased.
My plans are so clean that you can see a pin drop!
File $5.00

Letter from 12-29-06
Willie,
Please bear with my ignorance. I would like to build some of the planes you offer plans for, but don't know what the sequence of events are leading from when I send for the plans, to actually building the planes. I used to build planes back in the 60's. I guess it's true what they say about the hobbies you had when you were younger comming back around.
If I understand the process correctly, it goes something like this?: I send for the plans, you send them to me via e-mail, I download them onto a cd, I take them to a printshop, the printshop prints them out onto the appropriate sizes of paper, I'm now ready to build, build, build.
Thanks for bearing with me. I've already spent hours traveling through your website. It's great!
Thanks again,
Scott

This is an awesome plan for the young ones to build and fly because;
The fuselage is just a rectangular piece of wood, very sturdy.
The nose gear is really simple to build and is easy to understand on the plans.
The landing gear is made from small diameter music wire and is full size on the plans.
The wing and elevator are very basic in design and structure.
The rubber band is full length so as to viewable and easily repaired. This will help the child understand one of the Wile E. Coyote, Laws of Physics , Any body (or plane) in motion will tend to remain in motion until solid matter intervenes suddenly.
Wing span 37",,, Power: Rubber band. The really great magazine article, which is dated December, 1960, is printed on the plans. This is a "Must Have" plan for the kids.
File $5.00

I have an enlarged version of this plan. The plans say it has a 45" wing span but I measured it at 48? Oh well, they are the same price.
This is a tubby looking twin rudder free flight plane that begs to be converted to 2 or 3 channel RC.
Wing span 29",,, length 20'',,, Power: COX .049. The really great magazine article, which is dated April, 1959, is included.
Both Files $5.00
